What Sets Me Apart
"Taneise is a rare blend of creativity, passion, and technological acumen that allows customers to achieve their goals quickly and happily. She begins all projects, both large and small, with a professional and positive attitude."
- Dr. Jo Lobertini, Founding Dean, Center for Online Learning & Professional Studies
I approach instructional design with creativity, innovation, and just a touch of organized chaos. As an experienced Instructional Designer and graphic designer, I find joy in turning complex ideas into engaging, accessible learning experiences. Whether I’m storyboarding a module or building an interactive scenario, I aim to make learning meaningful—and maybe even fun.
Collaboration fuels me. I thrive in environments where we can bounce ideas around like a game of creative ping-pong. And let’s be honest, if we can’t laugh while we work, what are we doing?
What gets me out of bed each morning (besides a good cup of tea) is the chance to make a real impact through thoughtful, learner-centered design. I care deeply about accessibility, inclusion, and building experiences that help everyone—from first-time learners to seasoned professionals—feel empowered and equipped.
A passion for making complex topics clear, visual, and interactive.
A knack for blending strategy with storytelling and design.
Experience across e-learning, ILT, vILT, microlearning, and performance support.
Fluency with tools like Storyline 360, Rise 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and AI-powered design tools.
A sense of humor and a collaborative spirit—because great ideas (and great courses) don’t happen in a vacuum.
Developed the first AI course at a private university, setting a new benchmark in innovation.
Presented at the SACSCOC Conference, sharing insights on online learning communities.
Co-authored research with Parker University's Online Learning Department on addressing challenges in online education; the work was well-received within academic and professional circles.
You’ll find me immersed in all things design—from interiors to infographics. I’m also a true crime enthusiast, an avid reader, and a lifelong learner who’s always experimenting with new AI tools. Comedy and horror movies are my favorite way to unwind, and my quirky candle collection keeps my workspace smelling like motivation.
For me, great instructional design isn’t just about ticking boxes—it’s about creating something that connects, supports, and inspires. If we can do all that and share a laugh along the way? Even better.
